How Shooo! Works
Shooo! will frighten and deter birds away from your garden or yard by playing recorded bird alarm and predator calls. Shooo! reduces the effects of familiarity by playing bird call sequences at random times (typically 15 to 25 minutes). Additionally the unit will play the bird calls in different orders and has multiple calls for each bird species played randomly. Birds will react to the threat by leaving the area of potential danger disrupting their feeding on garden crops. Ultrasonic scarers are purposeless as birds can’t hear them. (see blog)
Birds will call to others when there is a potential threat with an alarm call and will react with varying degrees of urgency to other species alarm calls. Standard Shooo! has 48 different bird calls, chosen specifically to target the most prevalent yard and garden birds. Shooo! is waterproof to IP65.
There are also a special Shooo! variants specifically for Herons and seagulls.
